Now that Project 365 is over, I’m going to be returning to regular blog updates. I’m also planning to revamp the site before I return to work (Jan. 13).
I hope your year is starting out well. As for me, I made only one resolution – to become a better man. 2009 was a great year (despite getting laid off twice) but I feel like I sped through it. This year I’m slowing down, taking everything one day at a time, and using life’s experiences to mature as a man, a husband, and a father.

Two demos have left my fortress of solitude and are now ready for public consumption. The first is this new version of erickbieger.com. It’s been totally redone and is much more music friendly now.
The whole music part goes hand in hand with the second batch of demos, namely six of the songs we’re going to be recording for the new album. If you want to hear them, they’re the first six songs on the site’s new music player located to your right under “Music.” Two of them (Beautiful Distraction and Story Of Now) are older songs that we’re re-recording but 3rd Street (Promenade), Anything/Everything, At Least We Tried and Four Days Of Steady Rain are brand spanking new and have never been heard before.

I officially entered my mid-thirties today and somehow life just keeps getting better. 33 was probably the best year of my life thus far and I plan on chronicling that on here soon. (And yes, i mean soon – I realize that it’s been way too long since my last update…but life had other plans.)
For right now, however – I’m just going to enjoy being 34 today.
